Comment Policy

I need to work out a more detailed comment policy soon, however for now, please bear the following in mind:

• Don't post anything that could possibly be regarded as racist or bigoted. Please try to post specifics. (For example, don't say Americans are all lazy, instead say in my experience I've noticed that most Japanese I've encountered are more willing to work overtime than Americans. To me that is still kind of vague, but at least a statement like that might open the door for a dialog.)
• Please don't post rants or gripes.
• Please keep the tone friendly or at least polite.
• Please post something relevant.

I do not ever wish to, but I do reserve the right to delete posts that do not follow these guidelines without notice, especially in the case of anonymous commenters. If you have any questions please contact me at:
