McPork coming July 23

McDonald’s to sell porkburger Hamburger chain McDonald’s Japan announced on Friday they will launch a new burger - the McPork, made from U.S. pork. The porkburger will be available at all McDonald’s outlets in Japan from July 23, news portal Iza! reports. The burger, spiced up with a garlic and black pepper sauce, will be sold for 100 yen as a part of the “100 yen Mac” menu. The launch will also mean the end for the chicken meat burger McChicken, which no longer will be served at any McDonald’s outlet in Japan.Sounds healthier than beef.

Why is it so? I believe it will taste good, but why they're taking the McChicken out? Was it unpopular in Japan or is it something concerning health (bird flu?). I'm curious
I did not like the McChicken.
I did not like the McChicken. It was like eating a giant chicken McNugget, which in my opinion tastes like cardboard mixed with chicken. On the other hand the Chicken Filet will remain on the menu as far as I know, and that's generally what I order when I go to Mac.
McPork will definitely be a
McPork will definitely be a hit in Japan given the fact that there really is an equivalent of it here now. You can find karaage sandwiches (Japanese style fried chicken sandwiches) at virtually any convenient store and they taste better than the McChicken. McPork is different though. On this side of the planet, we are expecting nothing but the best with this new burger.
