This is a personal blog. Mostly this blog is for discussing current issues affecting Japan.
Why the title anarchy? Well, why not. Please don’t read too much into the title of the blog.
I’m mostly an old-fashioned 19th century liberal. I very much like classical liberalism, and I also believe in what F.A. Hayek called the spontaneous order. I also think piecemeal and peacefully, we should alway seek to move towards what Murray Rothbard called anarcho-capitalism.
In short, I believe in free markets and individual rights. I think we should always seek to minimize the role of government in our lives, whether we can ever succeed at entirely eliminating the government is not something I claim to know one way or the other.
Anarchy can mean more than one thing, and if nothing else it is a fun title for a blog.
I am a English teacher who has lived in Japan for about 17 years. You can find me on Facebook here.
